Sound artists and committed producers, key figures of the French experimental scene — one through the Coax collective, the other via his label Carton Records — Simon Henocq and Seb Brun have developed a radical and distinctive duo at the crossroads of electronic, noise, and performance-based music. Using heavily processed drums and guitar, they create a dense, raw, and sensual sonic material where sound becomes flesh. Their performance merges hypnotic pulses, industrial textures, real-time interaction, and distorted forms. Less club-oriented than Parquet, the project they both take part in, this duo ventures into harsher, more abstract territories — yet never abandons the physicality of rhythm. Together, they craft an immersive music full of air and tension, deconstructing conventions and asserting a resolutely contemporary vision of electronic music.
